DIRECTOR’S Message
Bhārat was at top level of “Viśvaguru” once upon by virtue of Vedic knowledge. Out of the 1131 branches of Veda we now have only 8 branches in the stream of teaching and learning. This shows the quantum of loss we suffer. This is the reason, for India’s dependence on foreign countries in several fields. We should once again become independent in all fields including Science and Technology. Philosophically, spiritually and culturally we are very strong. Utilizing that strength, we should endeavour to regain the status “Viśvaguru”.
Our endeavour starts with regaining and spreading the knowledge hidden in the available Vedic literature. Revival of Vedic knowledge alone can help us upgrade ourselves. At the same time, undoubtedly, the knowledge of modern science and technology is very much necessary. Suppose we have both! How wonderful it will be!
Ashok Singhal Vedic Research Institute is heading towards this goal.
